okieay :)
now time to update the story about my trip in singapore
huhuuu...

arrived in singapore at terminal 1 changi airport :D
totally anxious to discover more there :D
and arrived at aunts home at about 11am, in the morning
then, we went for Jurong Bird Park in the afternoon
a great day, but i have my feet aching because it has been a long time since i walk for long distances..
then, night falls,
we went for the Night Safari :)
getting there is pretty easy, yet
we nearly misses the last bus from there,
because it's quite late in the night, (1130pm if im not mistaken)
phew, getting it was a great relief, as if we missed it,
then it meant a night at the night safari :D

the second day was much better :)
universal studio singapore :D
awesome, nice, thrilling, and....ah...its hard to be described by words.
but seriously its value for money
and since we took express ticket for the first day,
queueing wasn't a big matter, because we can cut the line XD
how fun is it...!!!!!!!!
and we managed enter all the venues in the first day.

and some that i like the most are :)

the two thrilling roller coaster =.='' human and cylon

waterworld :) gempak gila

the ancient egypts :D

its quite uuurrgh..

because without the express ticket,

we need to follow the queue..

haaish..and the transformers queue is the longest..

on earth i think...an hour of wait at non peak hour..

*you need to wait 2.5 hours in the peak time*

whhaatta long wait..and my feet were aching..

and..when we finished the transformers..

the USS was actually closed..because it was 930pm..

sooo..back with dump hearted..:(

but after all..we did enjoy two days in the USS :)

and the 4th day..

finishing the time at singapore zoo..

while waiting for the flight at night....

so thats just bits and pieces of my singapore trip.

but ..

no words can explain it.:)

S4 classmates :)

just manage to have a brief chat with them..:(

they got classes at 8pm ..

never mind..seeeing them is just enough..

went to see my housemates :)

but sadly not all are there yet..

This morning, I have answered chemistry paper 1, the questions require us not to use any GDC, or so called the graphic display calculator, in answering all the questions. The requirement, made us rethinking a few times again. 


          Am I capable of answering the questions? Can I calculate all the mathematical analysis that is required in the chemistry paper? 


These questions juggle in our mind. Some may have a positive feedback, but some may have shocked and stepped back.


The reliance on the calculating machine may cause our perception towards our own calculating skills dropped significantly. We might not trust the calculations made by ourself and doubts it, as the machine has controlled our way of thinking. Technological dependency also kill our instinct and confidence in most areas. It also de-skill some areas of thinkings, such as the creative calculating skills which emphasizes on fast and creative way of solving a mathematical problems for instance. Given graph sketching knowledge. With the use of calculator,  we will straightforwardly brought to the exact graph without having to use our critical thinking to figure out how the graph look at the first place.


Dependency on technologies, given a calculator for example, reduces our alertness on some mathematical topics. We might be less alert to all the mathematical symbols such as the positive and negative signs as we easily obtain the answer just by entering the equation for instance and getting an answer. But , when we calculate traditionally ,we value them very much as the miss of those minor signs will bring a big impacts on the calculation which might lead to re-calculating back the equations. This time consuming process will make us value each of the sign and symbols given.


I always remember my dad, who keeps reminding his workers to learn to calculate the tedious and complex engineering manually without the help of the dedicated software. His reason was very simple, if you we're stationed at a tropical rainforest to handle a job, and the electricity is not sufficient. But the work must be handed in at time. Thus the human skills must be combined to complete the work, without the help of the engineering software. 


His saying always plays in my mind. I keep rethinking about it, and to me it holds a truth value. Hence I keep to myself, and make a vow to be not a technologically intoxicated. Not to leave the technologies behind, but not to be in total rely on it. The human are the creator and they invent the technologies, and surely, the human brain are better. Though to some extent the technology can lead us to a better life and eases it, but having traditional method in mind is a better precautions as we might have a day where the technology fails to meet our requirement or the breakdown of it, and we have to rely on ourselves, and if we cant we will fail.

it happens at this eve...

at about the time to break fast..suddenly my mum went for somewhere..

which I barely remember..and left me with few dishes to be completed..

I..who used to boast to my mum about cooking..

always say.."ma, its just easy stuffs to cook, chillax"

and now, facing a 'quite' great challenge.......

its only 2 option...finish the dishes before ma arrived home..or faced the laughter...-.-''

I wasss...urrr...okeaaaay foine.~ lets rock the kitcheeeen.!! XD

first..making the 'kuih cara'

huuurm..quite easy dish..buut...

mum got surprises..she asked me to go with 3 tasks..

finish the kuih, boil the eggs, and fry the prawn and cuttlefish with the kentucky four..

 the first is quite simple...tho I take quite a few tries to make it just right.

:) and got few scalds on my hands..o.O ahahaaa..

the second is very simple..

but the third...

I was likeeee...omaigowd..

first I know..to fry it..you can just put the flour only..as it wont turn into the right result..

aaaand, I remembered ma says..'watch out when u fry the squids, the oil might pop out'

tapi itu jika anda menetapkan dalam fikiran anda bahawa perkara tersebut benar2 menyibukkan anda, itulah yang anda akan dapat..
sesibukan yang memanjang tanpa sedikitpun waktu senggang untuk diluangkan untuk rakan2 malahan untuk bermunajat kepada Allah :)


justeru rakan2 yang sangat ku-sayangi....bebaskanlah fikiran ini daripada belenggu2 negatif yang sentiasa merantai naluri kita untuk sentiasa bergerak kehadapan. belenggu2 ini bukan sahaja melemahkan semangat berkobar2 yang sedia ada dalam diri setiap insan, namun mematikan semangat juang yang selama ini mendorong kita untuk lebih maju lagi. optimis, bukanlah pesimis. 


berjuang biarlah bersama, justeru juga dengan kejayaan..alangkah manisnya kejayaan itu jika dapat dikecap bersama, bersama-sama dengan rakan sekelas, sebagai contoh, yang telah bersama2 mengharungi onak dan duri selama dua tahun, melalui liku2 yang tersusah dalam persahabatan. oleh itu, di KMB ini, tidak bermaksud, kita MESTI meninggalkan mereka yang di belakang, dan membiarkan mereka terkapai2 kerana hanya satu alasan remeh sahaja, mengurangkan persaingan dalam usaha merebut tempat di universiti tersohor antarabangsa. karut dan remeh alasan itu. bersaing di tanah yang tidak rata merupakan satu pengkhianatan dan penghinaan. mengapa? bersaing dengan cara ini merupakan satu ketidakadilan yang ditimpakan keatas pihak yang kekurangan, tidak kira apa jenis kekurangan yang dialaminya, lalu, bayangkan betapa sukarnya pihak lawan itu perlu menggunakan segala apa yang ada, untuk menumpaskan pesaingya yang tidak adil itu. namun ada kalanya, nasib tidak selalu menyebelahi yang tidak adil, mereka tewas. bukan sahaja tewas secara taktikalnya, tetapi mereka turut tewas secara moral kerana tidak berlaku adil.


oleh itu, kepada rakan2 ku, terutamanya rakan2 E11B, yang sangat aku sayangi sekalian, ayuh, marilah kita sama2 berganding bahu dan tenaga, bekerja secara berpasukan bukan individu, demi merealisasikan matlamat kita bersama. marilah kita berusaha sekuat mungkin untuk menagkis tanggapan negatif yang dilemparkan kepada pelajar2 kejuruteraan selama ini. ....:)
